Hi there! My name is Alexus Trujillo, and I am a recent graduate with a passion for creative writing and graphic novels.

I've always been fascinated by the power of storytelling to connect people and shed light on underrepresented cultures and historical events. Hunger Games and I Kill Giants are two stories that particularly inspired me to explore these themes in my own work.

Recently, I've been focused on exploring Hispanic and Indigenous cultures in my writing, digging into the rich history and language of these communities to create meaningful stories that resonate with readers. I'm particularly drawn to exploring the experiences of people who struggle with selective mutism or introversion, and I believe that my writing can help to bring awareness and understanding to these often misunderstood experiences.

In addition to writing, I enjoy collaborating with artists to create graphic novels that bring these stories to life. My experience working on projects like these has taught me the importance of effective communication and collaboration in bringing a creative vision to fruition.

Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me, and I hope you enjoy exploring my portfolio!
